Eureka Community Services has developed an innovative new program to support the homeless population in accessing vital community resources to obtain housing & employment. Part of Eureka's C.A.P.E programUPLIFT Eureka links volunteers (called Co-Pilots) to be the primary advocate for homeless individuals. Your donation will help prevent the homeless from "slipping between the cracks" by giving Co-Pilots the resources they need to increase their success and independence. To donate go to Eurekaheroes.org.

Eureka Community Services provides scholarships to youth referred by their partnering agencies for families who don’t have the financial resources to send their child to Eureka Community Services programs such as after-school, youth basketball and summer camp. To learn more about Eureka's C.A.P.E Program check out Eurekaheroes.org.

Donate directly to the park, playground or trail of your choice.

Sequoia Park Playground Improvement Fund:  provides financial support for the construction and deferred equipment maintenance of the Sequoia Park Playground.  The Fund gives businesses, residents & park advocates an opportunity to make a difference in their parks and to build community, foster stewardship, and leverage resources to improve Eureka’s vital public spaces.  Donations can be made online at the Humboldt Area Foundation website.

Humboldt Bay Trail Fund (which includes the Eureka Waterfront Trail):  The HBTF was established to provide a mechanism for private donors to assist in the continued development of the Humboldt Bay Trail by focusing on the critical need for trail maintenance funds. Donations can be made online at the Humboldt Area Foundation website.

Businesses or individuals can donate clean-up supplies, materials or equipment for general use such as gloves, brooms, trash bags, litter grabbers, and graffiti remover.

Individuals can hold a neighborhood fundraising event like a lemonade stand or a street-wide garage sale, and then use the proceeds to purchase clean-up supplies for your favorite city neighborhood clean-up group.

Investing in E.C.O. Eureka helps support city-wide resources that keep our community clean and healthy!

Donate your goods! Part of our commitment to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is to reduce purchasing new items by reusing other ones. Donate your gently used items to the following E.C.O. Eureka & C.A.P.E. collection programs so that we may share them with the community or recycle them. Throughout the year we collect: books, Halloween costumes, and tableware (cups, plates, cutlery).

Donations to the Public Safety Program support volunteer efforts. Eureka Police Department volunteers need proper equipment and uniforms to assist in community crime prevention.

Join Bill’s Legacy Program by leaving a bequest, buy a donor salmon or raindrop for the Watershed Heroes exhibit, drop off fresh bamboo for our pandas or children’s books for our Little Free Library.
