Sequoia Park Re-Envisioning Survey!
Time & Location
About The Event
The City of Eureka wants to hear your thoughts! The Community Services Department and Greenway Partners have held two Public Meetings to review potential conceptual designs while engaging ideas and support from the community. The goals of this project are to make the park more inclusive, diversify the park experiences, enhance the play area, expand recreational opportunities, upgrade the trail system, add more gathering space, preserve natural and cultural resources, and promote sustainability.
The first phase consists of the conceptual design for the Playground Area and Upper Meadow, and was made possible by a generous donation from Redwood Capital Bank. Future phases focus on other areas of the park such as the trail system and the duck pond.
Now, we need your help to refine these great ideas and shape the future of Sequoia Park! The public is encouraged to provide additional input by completing an online survey before the conceptual design is finalized. If you were unable to previous community meetings please visit the City of Eureka website to find the Sequoia Park Survey and weigh in with your thoughts.
