About The Event

Have you been wondering what’s going on with 20/30 Park?

What improvements are planned? When it is going to happen? Have you ever wanted to help plan a park design, eat free ice cream, and hang out with fire department?

Then join us on-site at 20/30 Park to help us revision this space! We have already been awarded $6.4 million to transform this park and we need your help finalizing the design!

You will learn about the project and how far we have come. We will have interactive activities so you can give us feedback on the location of amenities and the design. You will get to meet the team designing the park and city staff who are overseeing the grant. Ask us anything and give your best ideas!

And that isn’t all… we will be offering *FREE ice cream from the Living the Dream Ice Cream Truck upon giving us your input! AND Humboldt Bay Fire will be joining us as well. The HBF Engine 8113 will be in attendance and will have a table with some giveaways, and the opportunity to race the crew in turnouts (the fireproof suits) in one-minute drills!

Drop-in anytime between 10am and 1pm for all of the fun!

*Ice cream will be available from 11am-1pm upon receiving a free ice cream ticket at the park input table. Limit one ice cream per person.

We are also having a virtual meeting on August 25th. There is no need to attend both, so choose whichever opportunity works for you and your schedule!

COVID-19 Safety Precautions:

Everyone will be required to wear a mask and social distance from those not in their household. We ask that you enjoy your ice cream socially distanced as well and do not interact with the input activities while eating ice cream.
