Environmental Stewardship

E.C.O. Eureka is a branch of the City of Eureka’s environmental program.
In 2016, the environmental services division for the City of Eureka re-branded to encompass environmental and conservation opportunities for Eureka. Better known as E.C.O. Eureka. Under this design, E.C.O. Eureka took on the existing roles of environmental services, which include waste services and development of the Eureka Waterfront Trail. E.C.O. Eureka also expanded to focus on community outreach and environmental education, community cleanups, special waste diversion programs, and hosting special events. Help promote sustainable lifestyle habits, clean and protect the beautiful land and marine ecosystems that surround Eureka, or help with our educational outreach campaigns.
